Signs Your Animal Is Trying to Communicate With You
Your animal communicates through behavior, the body, and the way they respond to you and their environment.
When something changes or repeats, there is a reason for it.
Most people reach out when they begin to notice patterns they cannot resolve.
Your animal may become anxious, reactive, or unsettled in a way that feels new or intensified. You may see withdrawal, clinginess, or a shift in their energy that does not match their usual state. These changes are not random. They are responses to something that is happening in their body, their environment, or the relationship they are part of.
Behavior is communication.
When a pattern continues, it means something has not been understood or met.
In many homes, animals respond to more than their own internal state. They are sensitive to emotional patterns, tension, and what is being carried by the people they live with. It is common for animals to take on or express stress that is present in the home, even when it has not been named directly.
This is where confusion begins.
You may try to correct the behavior, adjust routines, or seek solutions, and still find that the pattern returns. The behavior does not resolve because the root of what is happening has not yet been seen.
I work with both the animal and the relationship.
I connect with your animal to understand what they are experiencing in their body and emotional state. At the same time, I read what is happening between you so I can identify where something is being misunderstood, projected, or carried by the animal that does not belong to them.
This gives you clear information you can use.
You understand what is driving the behavior, what your animal needs, and what needs to shift in the environment or the relationship.
When this becomes clear, behavior often changes because the pressure on your animal has changed.
This work is especially supportive when:
Behavior has changed and you do not understand why
Anxiety or reactivity is ongoing
Your animal seems unsettled or not themselves
Physical symptoms are present without clear resolution
There has been a shift in your home or life
You sense your animal is responding to something deeper
